Parent APP - My Child At School (MCAS)
This is our parent communication and payment portal. It is available via a web browser and in the form of an App on both Android and Apple devices. We use this system to provide you with essential information and regular updates about your child(ren) and their life at Robert Sandilands.

New Users of MCAS
You can access My Child at School by going to:
1 - https://www.mychildatschool.com/MCAS/MCSParentLogin
2 – Click on the SIGN UP button
3 – Use the school post code RG14 1TS or school ID 15926
4 – Enter the email address that we have in school for you
5 – You will then be sent a one-time verification code which you can enter in the box and click verify
6 – You will then be asked to create a password. After this you will receive an email confirming that your account has been created
7 – Log back into MCAS either through the website address above or by downloading the My Child at School app from the app store. (Please ensure you enable PUSH notifications as you will not receive communications from the school without it turned on).
Once you have activated your account please check that all the information is correct. Parental consents and data collection information will need to be completed for all children.
Using the Mobile App
You can download the MCAS app via the Apple AppStore or Google Play Store.
Search for MyChildAtScool – Parent App (which will be listed from the publisher Bromcom Computers PLC).
1. You will be asked to choose and confirm a 5 digit pin. This will be used to login to the app. You will also have the option to turn on biometric authentication on the next screen.
2. Enter your e-mail address that the school has on record for you, followed by your password.
3. If you have not set a password yet, please click "Reset Password" to receive a reset link.
Accessing MCAS from a Web Browser
1. Please visit https://www.mychildatschool.com/MCAS/MCSParentLogin
2. Enter your e-mail address that the school has on record for you, followed by your password.

Adding a Sibling Account to MCAS
Some of our parents/carers will already have an MCAS account if they have children already at Robert Sandilands, or at another school who also use MCAS. If this is the case, you can add your child(ren) to your existing account.
1. Login to your existing MCAS app or use the online browser
2. Click on the Accounts button at the top of the app
3. Click the Add New Account button at the bottom
4. Login using your Robert Sandilands account using the School ID (15926) and your new account email and password
5. Your child should then appear on the app
6. To switch between your children you select the account button at the top.
How to Pay for Events or Items on MCAS
1. Select Store at the bottom of the app
2. Select the item you wish to purchase and click add to basket (you can tap the item to view more information)
3. A red dot will appear on the basket icon in the corner
4. If you want to purchase more items, repeat the process.
5. Once everything you require is in your basket, click on the basket.
6. Click on checkout
* If you have already added a card/address skip the next steps
7. Tap the plus sign
8. Enter your address details and tick the save information option
9. Tap Next
10. Enter your card details in the necessary boxes and tap Make Payment
You will receive an email confirmation of the transaction

Why does the page shake when signing up?
Your password might not match the requirements. Please make sure that the password you are entering is at least 8 characters long and includes, uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and special characters.
How do I change details on MCAS?
Using the Data Collection Form on MCAS you can edit, delete and add selected details of our children's and your personal details.
Some details such as Legal Name cannot be changed on MCAS. Please email the school in the first instance, and if we need further details such as supporting documents, we will let you know.
Any amendments will first be approved by Robert Sandilands School administration staff before any records are permanently updated. Amendments that are not approved will revert back to their original state. There may be a delay in approval, and we may contact you if we need clarification on details.
Give Parental Consent on MCAS
Using the Parental Consent form you can review and grant consents for your child, data, services and images. If you wish to revoke consent, you must email us.
What if I have more than one child attending Robert Sandilands School?
If you have more than one child at the school, you are able to click on the name of the student next to their photograph and it will give you the option to select other students associated with the user. Click on the photograph or the text to change the views allowing information to be viewed with just one login.
